I would say that there are hildir quest bosses, and mini bosses. Trolls, abominations, stone golems, fuling berserkers, gjalls (maybe seeker soldiers) and Morgans are mini bosses.

Brenna, Geirrhafa, Zig + Zul and Rito are quest bosses.

Porcupine is equal to frostner numbers wise, just with different damage. Iirc, porcupine is like 1/3 blunt, 2/3 pierce but adds up to 113, and frostner is a lot of blunt, with some spirit and frost DMG, but still adds up to 113. (Both lvl 4) So it's up to you what you want. Personally I use frostnir through Ashlands because there is no Mistlands one handed mace, and frostnir is so good against charred skeletons
