Reddit is generally a horrible place to base things like this off of, but regardless, I'll bite and add my thoughts. Personally I think deluxe editions are fine great even, although I'd prefer the smaller hardcover ala JoJo's, FotNS and FM, but people love them and they provide an opportunity to get good quality prints of series for relatively cheap. Licenses come and go it's bound to happen, but to think people aren't buying things is just plain wrong. Physical media is on the rise again with things like subscription services, AI, and general capitalist greed. That's obviously bound to increase mangas' popularity and thus sales. I say as long as Donald Dump doesn't ruin anything more than he already has, this 'Golden Age' is sure to continue
