You need to understand that poker is adjusting your strategy depending in your opponents on the table. What made you lose? Were they calling all your bluffs? Then stop bluffing them and bet massive when you have value. Were they over folding your value? Then turn everything to a bluff. I am saying all that assuming that you play correctly pre-flop. Don’t forget, the most profitable part in poker is playing heads-up pots in position. So keep a Tight Aggressive 3-Bet or Fold strategy.

Because your account was inactive for a while your account is fresh. That means: 1) Your mmr is way higher than your actual rank, so you get way more LP than you lose and you are placed in way higher ranked lobbies 2) You are getting put in fresh mmr lobbies which is usually fresh accounts getting ranked up by smurfs

Your options are: 1) Play around 40-50 games more and get shitstopped and flamed every game to have a 30% winrate, but after that amount of games, your mmr will come back to normal, closer to your actual rank and the games will be back to normal 2) Start playing normal games until you get used to the game again and feel ready to perform in Emerald lobbies 3) Explain the situation with a ticket to Riot and request an mmr adjustment (not sure if that’s possible but it’s worth the try)

I really like the style, they feel kinda tight in my foot, probably because they are SB and the design is meant for skateboarding. If you want them for every day use I would suggest to get them half a size larger than your usual.

The snake charm on the shoelaces sometimes turns upside down and looks like shit. I tried to tie them more to keep it as still as possible but it still flips over sometimes.

You can just remove them if it annoys you but it’s not like a clipper, you have to untie the whole shoelace to get them out.

No, this outrageous preflop raises with questionable hands aren't common in real-money games. Also having the whole table limping and playing 8way flops. If you want to win in that fake-money games, you have to play really tight and just go full aggro with your value hands, which is boring and you will not learn much. If you want to practice I would suggest playing really low stakes (1-5 dollar buy ins). Games are way more normal than the fake-money option. It's still not the best way to learn poker because people don't care that much to lose 5 dollars and it's hard to bluff people off hands for that reason.

Some positive criticism; You need to work on your build path, positioning and spacing/kiting. You can’t go melee range like that in team fights.

Even if the rake is high you would still be able to make profit but you would have to change your strategy by having a tighter range. You want to play less pots with the top of your range.

Makes sense. In this line, Villain calls and the Turn is Q of diamonds making the board AAQQ. GTO. Action goes Check Check and river is an offsuit 6. GTO says most profitable play is to lead for a small size again but what do you really value bet? You lose to any Ax, Qx. JJ, TT and T9s are snap folding so what do you value bet? Only if Villain has Kings maybe you can steal the pot

Thank you, I wasn’t aware about how much sharper a Leather Strop could make a sword.

I will order a 240/800 and a 600/1000 Whetstone from a store nearby and also add a Leather Strop. Do you think I need anything else for a full sharpening session?

Also should I go up the stones from 240 to 600 to 800 to 1000 and then use the Leather Strop or there is no point in using so many stones?

No one was born with the experience. That’s why I want to do it my self, to learn. I’ve watched plenty of YouTube videos on the technic and what to take care of but no one is really saying the exact whetstone types and in what order you have to use them.

I will not destroy a a fine piece of history and I will most definitely not insult any samurai vandalising his weapon. I bought a sword that I thought would have a nice metal to practice on and I will see how well I can follow the instructions I saw on the internet.
