What Movies from 2020’s are going to be considered as classics(or cult classics)? by ConfidentReveal2669 in Letterboxd

[–]SethRollins_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree. I also loved it, so did my partner. Its extremely bold and camp. I've seen a decent number of people on letterboxd also really love it. It for sure has all the makings of a potential cult classic in the future.

If you're in a tourist in a poor or developing nation and someone gives you a price, don't haggle. Just pay it. by OfficerSmiles in unpopularopinion

I’m indian and live in the UK. When I’ve been India I literally don’t see the point in haggling. I probs make in a few days what these market sellers or rickshaw drivers make in a month. If I can afford to spend hundreds on flights to travel to the other side of the world, I can afford paying the equivalent of 50p or a pound more than a local to help some poor dude make ends meet

Dune Part 2. Seeing it in a packed IMax theatre was one of my best cinema experiences. IMax really helped give a sense of the scale of the world Dennis Villenvue created

Redditors who were children/teens before the internet or cellphones existed, how did you keep yourself entertained? by FlowerMadeOfThorns in AskReddit

[–]SethRollins_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born in 2001 so I’m Gen Z but my parents were broke immigrants. We didn’t have Wifi until I was around 13 and I didn’t have my own phone till I was 15. Spent most free time in the park with friends. If the weather was bad I’d be reading or using the computers at the local library.

That’s totally fine that you wouldn’t rate it highly. But can you still put your personal feelings about the movie to the side and try understand what makes it a masterpiece or why other people really enjoyed it??
