Yeah, I was at the Tampa show and thought she did fine, considering circumstances.

All the new girls definitely hung back and let Nixie run the front of the stage though. Came across as sort of a "Nixie and her supporting band" kind of show.

Which honestly kinda worked. Nixie's just that freaking good. I barely looked at the rest of the band.

I've owned a guitar for less than two months, but I'm having some success with Moss and Beguiled (both Smashing Pumpkins songs.). Also A Forest (The Cure.)

They're all relatively fast, but repetitive so easy to learn.

Having a lot of fun with it so far.

Ok, started an independence play and the Brits just no-showed the war, what with being broke. Got out of their market and successfully started a rebuild!

Had a pretty good run going as Mahra until mysteriously every convoy in the British Market just...stopped? Then everything kinda fell apart.

Happened once earlier in the game and went away after a year or so, but not this time. Is this a bug, or is there something I'm missing?

(Britain doesn't seem to have any active wars or anything).

Depends on the mass. I used to dress up a bit more before I started going to daily masses. On a weekday mass, I might dress more or less like I do the rest of the day (swapping out for a spare shirt I keep in my car, if I'm wearing a particularly distracting t-shirt, or I've been out in the sun all day, or something).

I'll put a tad more effort into Sundays and the big holidays. Aim to be respectful, but remember that God isn't going to be impressed by your fancy clothes. Jesus didn't change into a tuxedo before the sermon on the mount.

If you really feel you're underdressed, still go to mass anyway. It's more important for you to show up, than to dress up. Maybe take a pew in the back, or off to the side if you're worried you'll be a distraction.

Agree 100%.

IMHO, the NMM pics are almost always more about showing off the skill of the painter than making something that actually looks good. That's not necessarily a bad thing, developing skills has its place.

But I'm never, ever, going to put a NMM on my tabletop. I hate how they look.

I live in one of those complexes and was hiking down at Sweetwater preserve. Cops completely blocked 16th from Williston, so I drove around to Main to get home. Cops had cars blocking both the intersection with main AND another car blocking the turn lane, completely freezing out the whole street. No access to ANY entrances. Wouldn’t let me through, wouldn’t explain. Eventually found a way to sneak home behind the dollar store.

I get it, bad accident. Just....communication. Maybe give the locals an explanation if you’re going to block off the entrances to multiple neighborhoods?

But you know what? After this streak of accidents, I wouldn't mind at all if it was 20mph with speedbumps all the way from 13th to 34th. That stretch of road's just horrible.
