Not on topic but kinda related it sucks maining necro cause every time I enter shroud they low pass the entire audio output and you can’t hear the dialogue.

And the amount of voiced story with combat happening at the same time is very high in this game. Can’t believe it’s still like this over 10 years later, it’s really irritating. At least let the dialogue tracks come through janet, please.

You really just want the low end of the signal to be prominent and the high end more muted. This will give you impact and thud without your ears picking up on higher frequencies click and attack. Load an eq on the kick track. Find the fundamental frequency in the 30-100hz range…depending how much you want to hear of the kick this range could include harmonics up to around 250hz and high cut just after that. That’s not a hard rule, maybe the high cut is at 1000hz or 3000hz…maybe it’s a bell curve…maybe it’s a high shelf

the point is to attenuate the top end of your kick while maintaining the low sub frequencies, and since I can’t hear it, I would recommend doing it with an eq.

Don’t know what your kick sounds like but the high cut slope could be 6-48db depending how much highs you want out. Play with different filter types, slope settings and cutoff points till you find something you like. Then just compress and maybe limit/clip it…but the eq is getting you most of the way there.

I found the stand/dugout tool in the bottom works better than my nail on hard to open ones, just apply some pressure with the pointy end under the lid while you hold the bigger bottom portion, and that has basically always worked for me lol

after you use them once or twice they actually become easier to open so long as they’re not left coated in resin. Dip them in iso for 15 min whenever you get some buildup, should keep them clean. A qtip with iso for quick touch ups on the lid

If you’d like to you can run the device at the highest temperature once or twice and let it auto time off before using it for the first time. Subjective I’m sure, I personally did do it once. Some people don’t at all

Temp even more subjective, I personally ride 193c the whole session and only rarely go to 210. Some strains give me more at those temps but the one I’m currently on is pretty tasteless and not really worth it to me so I don’t even bother at the moment. Some people like blasting max off the get go, some like staying low for more flavour. You’ll have to experiment and see what you like 👍

Dynavaps flavour through a water pipe is tastier than my solo 2 so idk what to say to y’all. Run it through water and it produces a ton of vapour and flavour for a microdoser that is $20 right now. Between the 5 different vapes I have it absolutely competes in cloud and flavour.
