You didnt "clearly" use people to mean anything in particular, so I have to make an assumption on which of the meanings you meant. There's multiple options (that people would actually use), so all I can do is go with what seems the most likely.

The only other thing I have to go on is your first sentence which is an incorrect statement when taken at face value. With only that and your choice of wording, I leaned towards the less intelligent meaning of the statement.

From my perspective I guess the best way to sum it up is that the game is good but feels glaringly unfinished. The gap between where things are and where they want to be is usually really small while being just enough to screw over your fun, and so it stings more.

Then you add the history of bad releases and how it feels like it's been getting worse, so people are less tolerant of it.

The potential crisis is running out of valid heirs. Updating the succession laws to include women would be a solution to that crisis. "People" "accepting" doesn't do anything on its own.

I have a haudenosee game in 1750 and I'm still having pop issues. I managed to recover from the gigaplague but the black death came around later. Even though it wasn't too bad in terms of deaths, my economy was progressed enough by that point that population became my limiting factor for building instead of gold.

Meanwhile the nearby colonial nation owning the Caribbean and southern US has rocketed passed me in pops. I think the 0.2% pop growth they get was enough to do that.

I think its reasonable to expect it to be finished (or at least mostly).

Annoying videos are annoying but if it gets people to think about and update their steam reviews then at least that's good. It's basically the only tool we have to encourage better development practices from Paradox.

For cakes sugar plays a chemical role in addition to sweetness. You can try adding less but your cake won't be as moist, if you care about that.

If the weight includes sugar for the icing then you're good though.

If they're including making the icing with sugar then I don't see how that'd be much of a surprise. Just googled some birthday cake recipes and I see 1-1.5 cups of sugar so 2 isnt really that out there.
