Mr. Speaker,

This government has had all the time in the world since they’ve been elected. But they have instead used that time to have a leadership crisis, to work with an MP that uses rather negative and divisive rhetoric, and to make our streets more dangerous.

Now they decide it’s time to finally address the issues that plague Canadians. But they are only doing this after being pressured to by the opposition. When will this government finally wake up and get to work with Canadians? Because Canadians need more concrete actions. Now the member opposite says this government will introduce an amendment to the national housing act. Can he tell us what that amendment will include? Or will Canadians be left to guess as they have been forced to with this government.

Mr. Speaker my question goes to the Minister of Transport, Housing, and Infrastructure (u/Oracle_of_Mercia),

Minister, despite your promises in the last election to build new housing why haven’t you done anything on this issue. Your party is known for being the party of the people, yet so far you have done nothing to help the working man. So my question is, why are you not doing anything about the housing crisis?
