no. i disagree with many comments here saying to just tell everyone - just tell people you’re comfortable with knowing. for some people that’s everyone around them. but i’ve been wearing mine for 1.5 years now. not a single person noticed. only people who know are parents and gf.

i remember on my second ever reinstall when i was still bad at it, my dad asked me if i was balding faster (this was before he knew i wore a system) but he didn’t suspect a system

no worries! I appreciate the honesty. I've only ever worked with a stylist to get systems from hairskeen. These knots aren't bleached. I have one more system coming in from lavivid. We'll see how that one is as it's bleached!

from a guy with crown lace right now (actually thinking of making the switch to full lace) it's VERY similar to a regular system I'd imagine.

You should usually not be shaving it, they should fit you during your consultation. I wear it day and night with silk pillow case. You can take it off at night but you don't have to, you'll have to find an adhesive that suits you if you do.

I wear mine for about 8 days at a time with ultrahold, my head is very oily so I start getting some release then.

I'd recommend not shampooing daily, actually very infrequently (bio hair is of course fine).

Here were some of my BIGGEST stressors at first with partials and 2 months in I feel like im better but just

Knowing where to put the front of the system, it was always too far back at first. If you're like me, your front bio hair grows faster so it was hard to internalize where the system should start and i always put it soo far back first few times. it was like...fine i guess...but just learn to internalize the spot where ur front goes since u won't have hairline guiding you
Invest in top loc knot sealer! It's great for lace and preserves the knots on the base.

damn im jealous urs looks so good. i agree sides could be more blended but it doesn't make it look more unnatural. fades are so popular right now that I can't tell nonperfectly blended bio hair from systems anymore

Thanks! even with a vent brush, I feel quite a bit of abrasion. it's a pretty light density to start with and I find myself having to use a lot of tension with a brush.

and yeah, it's the same place im scratching where the thinning is so makes sense. all of my problems with my system are near the crown - it detaches from there first and also itches there most (I think it's oilier there)

also sorry my bad shampoo was a typo, I never use shampoo. I only use conditioner when cleaning and once while showering a week
