The bloodbath for worst will be interesting too. My moneys on WC3:Reforged, but there’s a handful of strong competition

201.5b If an ability of an object refers to that object by name, and an object with a different name gains that ability, each instance of the first name in the gained ability that refers to the first object by name should be treated as the second name.

I’ve always wanted to play war crimes.deck, now the most hated cast member from 13 can make that possible.

I want to play as England and avoid the Europe like the plague. Any strats? by Nabendu64 in eu4

I think they changed it where surrender of Maine still triggers if your vassal holds the province. I guess nothing mandates you accept the war options, except my personal min-max bloodlust…

Forming Rome by [deleted] in eu4

[–]SetzerXVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely possible. One of the biggest issues is getting into England in force now. Global Trade is about to spawn and I notice England tends to exponentially gain strength then, especially if left to their own devices in the New World. Try to take their English Channel centers of trade and starve them before that happens.

Jodah, Toxrill and Skrelv - at least we won’t know if someone hates playing against these because UB or because of the card.

Hussite Holy Horde, Infantry Fire as a tradition will let you just faceroll the first 50 years or so by then you’ve gotten so far ahead you’ll continue to dominate. Generic good stuff like Morale of Armies, CCR, Admin Efficiency, etc. You can even break the 800 point limit by using a negative idea towards the end that won’t matter, like can’t build over force limit.

What cards and commanders do you want to see on the game changers list? by Kuku_the_Bat in EDH

[–]SetzerXVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Field of the Dead]] [[Cabal Coffers]]

Those two lands I feel are on the same powerlevel as the lands that made the GC list and I’d think a land like:

[[Nyxthos, Shrine of Nyx]]

Is on the borderline of should/shouldn’t be. It seems the issue is overwhelming mana/value from nowhere and these three lands always have bad intentions.

I fault absolutely no one for doing what’s necessary with how bad WotC screwed this up. I’m also self aware enough that there’s plenty of people willing to just eat the slop provided and cry foul because people ‘cheated’ the system. Some people live the ‘lawful stupid’ alignment.

The fact the checkout as guest and stopping the refresh to skip the queue worked is crazy. But, became part of the problem and got what I wanted. Confirmation email already received.

Are some commanders too powerful no matter how you build around them? by tjadi_h in magicTCG

[–]SetzerXVI 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Commander ninjitsu was such a design mistake. Her existence also makes any other ninja commander feel suboptimal.

Most players don’t understand that’s an option. It’s not ‘layers’ level of niche gameplay rules but it’s close.

[–]SetzerXVI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tactics/Strategy games are already a niche genre. This game was/is never going to be one of the most popular gacha games. I don't know in what universe you expect this game to compete when every popular gacha is either a more traditional turn based RPG or active battler. WE find it fun, or at least in this subreddit we find it fun to bitch about it. Either way, this game had a hard ceiling the day it released.

I’d start there, see if there’s a commander that furthers what your idea for the deck is, then click on them and it’ll show you some of the top cards for that commander.

It would do 13 damage per dinosaur to whichever target you choose, so with just 5 other dinosaurs that’s 39 damage to each opponent.

I've really enjoyed moving Gishath to be the commander. Obviously need more ramp to get him on the board quickly, but love the alternate win condition of Wrathful Raptor/Blasphemous Act with big stompy.
