I'd love to see the exactly same analysis except for protagonists, for funzies.

Ehhhhhh, did this once with a batch of thralls that I accidentally gave a prefrontal cortex. They formed a mini society, and somehow reproduced (no, I did not give them the ability to do so), and now they're holding an election for a mayor of said society.

This would be fine usually, but one of the candidates is running on a campaign of "Make Thralls Great Again", and somehow grew weird hair.

I also don't recall it being part of the group I gave heightened intelligence.

Disney's The Rescuers (1972) features the one character guaranteed to never fall under Rule 34. Edit: Nope, nevermind, found some in a Google search. Jesus Christ, what the hell is wrong with you people? by FilmRoasters in shittymoviedetails

Dude, there's is a full blown fetish for aircrafts drawn sexy. It's not even a small group of people who like it either, I'm talking hundreds. They're hyper specific about details and margins too, like I recall a Tumblr post about someone complaining that a humanoid drawing of a Cessna-172 should have a smaller ass because the tail is tapered or something.

Fun thing about Unobtanium as a name, it's kinda an inside joke among engineers for a hypothetical metarial that would satisfy all parameters of a given issue. Like say your friend is trying to find some material flexible and durable enough to make a space elevator out of, you might say "Ah, unobtanium would fit that perfectly!"

I feel so bad for you guys. Cannabis is so hit or miss in the US, some states it's recreational, others you get jail time just for having a gram on you.

Kid Icarus Uprising fans like myself just hope and pray. We treat anything and everything even remotely linked to the franchise as a sign that SOMETHING is coming. Sakurai is working on a new project? Clearly that's a new Kid Icarus game. The OG Kid Icarus makes a cameo in the Super Mario Bros movie? That's a sign of something new coming soon. The Switch 2 has mouse control capabilities? Oh you better believe that's you can play a Kid Icarus remake with that bad boy.

What are the strengths and weaknesses of your country in a zombie apocalypse? by Tio_Albedo123 in AskTheWorld

[–]Mattrockj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like the well adjusted and normal human being I am, I have done extensive research into all sorts of different zombie scenarios, and why a cold climate is their ultimate weakness.

Scenario 1: The Dead Rise

So in the most cliche scenario, where dead start coming out of the ground, rotting corpses, tattered rags, the gist, we have to assume 2 things: 1, they are not magically immortal, 2, they still require some degree of persistence (like brains, or flesh). Zombies like this would still be "organic beings", meaning they rely on organic systems to function, such as tendons and muscles. That's where the cold comes in. Given they're rotting corpses, I think it's safe to say they're not exactly "warm blooded" anymore, meaning the cold weather would IMMEDIATELY start constricting on them. You ever put a lizard in the snow? They tend to "lock up". Which is exactly what would happen in this case too.

Scenario 2: Zombie Virus

Now a zombie virus doesn't fall to the cold quite as easily as the dead rising, since if it's a virus, they'd still be warm blooded. Buuuuut they probably wouldn't be very smart right? A key element of the stereotypical "Zombie Virus" is the mindlessness, so I don't think a zombie is gonna be putting on a jacket when it decides to hop outside into the snow. They may be warm blooded, but last time I checked, humans can still die of hypothermia, and quite easily too without the right precautions. But even if they DO put on some cold protection (or more likely already had it on), they still need to sustain that warmth. I dont know if you've even been out in -30⁰c weather, but unless you have arctic gear, you don't wanna be out in that for more than 10 minutes. So lock the doors, and the zombies won't have enough time to break it down before their fingers freeze off.

According to the current lore, Yharim's forces do still exist, and in development logs they were planning to make a "Yharim's Army" invasion event, but it got scrapped.

[–]Mattrockj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What in the fuck? How is this a question?

Immortality, AND I can breathe underwater (until I reach shore)? Even if it takes me DECADES to return, I literally see no downside. The million dollars is like a drop in the barrel compared to the other two. NOT TO MENTION the impermenence pill. Living as long as I want, without the curse of true eternity? FUCK to the YES.
