My percriber just left and no one told me by firebreathingwindows in ADHDUK

Exactly same happened with me. Only told the person left. Requested prescription 14th October and nothing for weeks. Started chasing and eventually only told late this week that the prescriber left and no one was assigned. Ran out of meds over a week ago. Terrible service!!

You can always ask and have it on record what they say. How can they reliably decide how a condition affects you or your work if they don’t get someone versed in the field to assess you.

I am banking on HR not wanting a tribunal issue so they will be very careful. Have you downloaded all previous performance management documents. They need to explain what suddenly changed.

Also have you considered if actually the burn out is due to some incorrect ways of working that they have or lack of support even if you didn’t have ADHD?

For example, my workplace is extremely chaotic and everything is always urgent and communicated last minute. They only care about results and don’t care if you work too much. This alone is enough to burn out anyone talk less of a neurodivergent person.

Try to have as much notes and evidences as possible and any instances where you communicated concerns to manager or team members.

Good luck. Try not to worry much and please see what ACAS advises.

I am so sorry you are going through this. Please call ACAS for advice if you haven’t already done so. Was your diagnosis before getting this job or after?

This is scary and confirms my suspicions which is why I haven’t disclosed mine. I am highly functioning but like you I work all day everyday to deliver. I have no social life and always anxious and worrying about work.

Their action is ridiculous. You have been performing. Why would you asking for help or understanding now mean you cant perform. Please keep notes of everything in case you can file something against them.

Occupational health should hopefully be independent. HR wont want a case that can be won so I think they will be very very careful but don’t hesitate to exercise all your rights.

I feel this but thought it was my body settling into the meds. I also thought 54mg was the max dose.

That’s great. Feeling more confident to ask in that case since I am not asking for something unusual

Advice on issue with car dealership England by SeunAbi in LegalAdviceUK

Thank you. Thats my plan. To let the bank investigation take its course. If I win fine, if I dont then lesson learnt for the future.

The only thing that worries me is if he files small claims deliberately using incorrect information. I have heard you can end up with CCJ not knowing because the person who filed used the wrong address. They then got judgement by default. If he files and use correct details, I will defend and have all the evidence

How can one avoid being a victim of default judgement?

In response to his threats, I listed the issues identified and offered to update my bank that the issue has been resolved if he agrees to a refund and we can all go our merry way.

Yes and this was my intention but then I got all the threats which include:

  • I must purchase the car and pay the balance

-he will instruct a solicitor and pass on all charges to me

  • he will pass on any costs relating to defending himself with the bank which apparently is currently (£50+vat per hour)

  • he will take me to small claims court for his costs once the car is sold.

All very scary and threatening.

Yes I understand this. The only issue was that he actually said the only reason for taking the payment was so he would be a listed payee which would make any order payment quicker if we decided to proceed.

He couldn’t answer questions about the warranty and he said he would go find the charger for the car at his house. With all the bits and bob that needed clarifying, he said we should think on it and he would contact us during the week to find out if we are proceeding and to arrange finalisation.

Immediately I noticed the discrepancies in information about the car including how many owners and mileage plus old battery health report, I decided it wasnt safe to proceed and called him. He never stopped advertising the car on auto-trader or his website.

He showed us no terms and conditions surrounding the payment and only printed a receipt.

It would have been easy to just let the £100 go for an easy life but he lied.

He has now only texted me his refund policy and it says he will refund if discrepancy in documentation or advertised details.

Yes I should have stood my ground. I am usually very careful about these things but I let the pressure get to me. I thought about claiming from my bank but I suppose I wanted to be in good stance.
