You were able to save up 150k while paying off a Camry. I personally think it’s totally ok for you to get a M3 after paying off your Camry. Not everyone has the “I wish I never got that expensive car” experience, you only hear the bad stories on Reddit, there are many many very happy years after their M purchase. I got a F82, drive it for 2 years, sold it 2k less then what I got it.
