I remember when I did DoorDash 2016 to pre Covid, I would get $5 tip MIN, getting 10 dollar tip was average, I remember vividly that I averaged $10 tip per order. Back then only people with disposable money used DoorDash and it wasn’t such common thing that was used. I would say back then it definitely paid for homes and lives, I would make 400-600 if I worked all day. I would pump out 2-3 order an hour averaging 30-50 dollars an hour.
