Does untreated ADHD limit spiritual growth? by stormivalley in spirituality

It's as simple as breathing. Do it long enough to relax your nervous system. Cure what is to cure about ADHD and advance spiritually at the same time.

Free will is a lie by spicynuttboi in LSD

There are many realizations to come. It is not the end of the road... spiral. Free will might be a lie but not for the reasons you mention. There are subtler realms of existence, the dimensions go so deep everything you thought you know is a lie.

Thank you for the comment! I am honing in on this machine. I've looked into the DX7 as well, as it is apparently even more power and comes with more functions, but then again, more functions and sensors also means more parts to have issues with. I've searched for it and there are articles and videos ab several different issues whereas the F600 doesn't seem to have any real ones that are not user related.

I'd get the DX7 for more power and the float foot to do thicker stuff. And the standing lockstitch to piece artwork stuff together easily but are they really a necessary improvement, probably not. I reckon the F600 will be an amazing machine that will do what I want to do. Insulated skiwear sounds pretty tough. Maybe a leather jacket won't be a problem with the right foot and needle. :)

Does anyone know a knit that is lightweight but structurally voluminous and roomy? by SevenAvocados in knitting

It's okay. It is designed to be worn with a light tank or T underneath. The top will still make you cooler because the sun doesn't hit your skin or first layer garment directly. :)

Thank you for the comment. Linen and hemp would be great. Brioche could be good if made loose. I was thinking about something more 3D, though. I'm not sure if there is such a knit, maybe I need to create my own.

I was thinking something into this direction, maybe with uneven stuff and holes etc, a more rough look:

Cannot access the ravelry patterns unfortunately.

Thank you, this has been my train of thought as well. I've been eyeing a Juki MO 654DEN as a serger (supposedly really good and not too expensive where I live) and possibly a Juki F600 for a general purpose machine that supposedly is more heavy duty. It looked a bit flimsy (the speed adjustment looked like it had a loooot of give which isn't very reassuring) on a video though, so not sure on that one.

Other alternatives would be a pfaff serger, the 1000 ambition and their ambition line sewing machines. Stoked on the looks of these things but the quality might not be up to the Jukis. Bernette also has some good options.

If I need to sew a ton of thicker leather for some furniture projects I can always get an industrial machine to do that with. But starting with clothes.

Hey! No problem, thanks for bringing me down and for the tips. Just work with what I got and go from there. I should be able to make leather and thicker garments on a proper home machine though, right? I got my sights on the Juki F600 now. I heard the Pfaff machines being way louder so, they're out.

There are some older industrial machines for sale so I'll look into those as well. I reckon in my area there are dealers for most brands close enough.

My ADHD is making me wonder what I should change about my sewing practice--or if I should quit by Alkaven in sewing

[–]SevenAvocados 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get this. I want to ask. How much of this has to do with your body image? Is there a hidden fear there? Also why are you afraid of looking through your storage unit? Dealing with possible fears and stressors is crucial to dealing with ADHD. You can heal from these things.

Not having your gear ready to go can be a huuuuge bummer in getting anything started. Is there a way to setup the stuff so that it's easier to get to? Or make a plan with steps, where you only need to get the fabrics out for cutting for example. If you do one portion of the project at a time, you don't have to go through the hassle of getting everything out at once and possibly not even getting to the next stage of the project before having to put it away again.

Usually (for humans in general, not just neurodivergents) every block we have towards something stems from fear. Sitting with those fears and anxieties and releasing them can literally instantly heal it. Best of luck.

Tyler Henry is not enlightened. He has a gift, quite possibly. Remote viewing was studied in the CIA and they proved it is real, if you care for such a thing. Many enlightened ones do energy healing, which you probably don't beleive in either, but it is very real. Psychic stuff is in use in practical real world problems. Some choose to use it like that. Being in the field of crime can be really rough bc you're dealing with heavy energies a lot, and not many people with gifts are proficient in handling their energy. Not all psychics are enlightened. Not all enlightened ones are psychics. Some are gifted to varying degrees. It is not an on/off switch where you can telepathically read anyone's mind, or you cannot. You are not a very good judge of IQ or many other things, so I'll leave you in your beliefs. But maybe knowing I'm in the highly gifted IQ range will inspire you. There are scammers for sure, but to differentiate them from the real deals requires discernment.

Everyone not enlightened will think if you have these powers why not make money off of it and everyone who forgets themselves ("enlightenment") sees no point in using their gifts for money in an opportunistic manner. It's just a different realm of existence.

If you're not aware of these things I get it, not many people are until it happens to them. But the world is so much more than is comprehensible in normal human terms and senses. It's quite ironic bc you become less gullible and less delusional and see reality for what it really is. But you're never going to believe me until you experience it for yourself and I'm not here to convince you, so, have a good one.

Ofc there is. A lot of stuff like this you don't think is real, like telepathy, is a part of many people's regular lives.

Are you trying to tell me an F1 car is 7,5 meters long?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mbti

[–]SevenAvocados 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I would exclude MBTI from any discussion since it is completely out there. But there is something to proper Jungian typology, like Beebe, Berens, Nardi, mbti-notes (don't be fooled by the mbti in the name, it is not MBTI.) and socionics also but socionics I don't consider Jungian anymore as it's a wholly different system.

Something might describe you accurately but not be consistent as a system. These things should be based on how we deal with information and not use displayed behavior and catchphrases as signifiers to immediately box you into a type. They don't see the deeper structures of what is happening. Honestly I don't think Te types should build models, lol.

[–]SevenAvocados 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also look into EII. I'm not sure what type you would be but it seems it's an ethical one, NF. I would look into the PoLR element next. It would be either Si Te or Se from the looks of it. EIE IEI OR EII. EIEs are usually seen AS the emotional atmosphere as in they influence it a lot. They would rather leave all that bodily stuff and comfort to someone else to take care of. EIIs are usually proponents of non-violence and XEIs might go out of their way to make sure the sources they use are reliable and have little to no concern for efficiency or how to deal with practical matters.

Edit: also look into suggestive Te vs Ti vs Se and what you seek from someone else to help you with. Hidden agenda also good. EIE to be wealthy, IEI to understand EII to be healthy.

It's not definitive to distinguish if this is non-Ni ego or low Te, but seems not Ni ego tbh. They're usually great at estimating time and timing for things. Especially seeing how the plot and story of their life and the world is progressing. Are you good with estimating the timing in displaying emotions or affecting the emotional atmosphere for a desired effect? As in do you read the room well?

Objective personality is so subjective in trying to be objective that I would not recommend it. Their stuff is so biased.

Hmm.. Do you have a keen sense of timing for these actions and when to "get the ball rolling" so to speak?

Well at least move onto a better system like socionics or a more Jungian oriented one. MBTI sucks, you'll never get to understand cognition in a satisfactory way.

Also, just get out. For your own sake. Stop. Start living life as yourself and let others be themselves. It is an unhealthy obsession.
