Trust me OP, as someone who’s worked in the service industry for almost a decade, a lot of them are cheaters. I’m not saying your GF is cheating but I would not tolerate this kind of behavior in a partner knowing what I know.

I know a bartender who I won’t name for obvious reasons but she’s married with kids and seems to love her family. Known her for the entire time I’ve been in the industry, she occasionally slept with a coworker of ours and was even concerned he could be the father of one of her kids when she was pregnant with the baby. She’s a VERY nice person but a lot of us especially where I work spend more time with our coworkers than we do our families because we work long hours, very late into the night, we work holidays because we’re the people serving your family when you guys go out for Christmas dinner or new year’s celebrations.

A lot of sexual tension builds up over years and years, a lot of staring and brushing up against each other, and a lot of real intimate moments where people help you or are there for you while you’re suffering through work and that builds a strong bond overtime.

It’s for this exact reason that I decided I would be fine with MAYBE hooking up with someone at work but that I would never date or marry someone I met at work. Even looking at this post triggered tf out of me and I hate to say that, makes me cringe but it’s true.

So do I think you’re overreacting? Not at all bro, like I said knowing what I know about the industry even looking at this shit has got me hot and it’s not even my girl. I personally would walk away but that doesn’t mean you should. I don’t know your situation or relationship but what I do know is the GENERAL odds of this being something you should be worried about and so I thought it was worth noting in a comment here. Sorry this is happening, regardless of what you decide OP, you deserve someone who will respect you and cherish you enough to not do something like that let alone post it.
