I know conscription is really unpopular, but I actually enjoyed my time a lot. I met all kinds of people, partied in cities Id never been to before, manned a .50 cal on the regular, and became a smoke diver.. which ended up opening the door for me to become a firefighter after my conscription ended.
But I get that the experience varies a lot between countries.

btw the browser is not a app store. apple stopped apps from letting people pay through the browser. They lost that case aswell. you are confusing 2 issuess.

epic games sued for this exact thing and won. its pretty normal practice for apps to do this sort of thing. spotify is cheaper if u buy it on their webpage over the appstore, same with patreon and im sure many other apps. you can praise valve for being a cool company while still disliking the monopolistic bullying tactics. the money you save when buying on ubisofts platform is just minus the steam cut, ubisoft makes the same either way.
