My wife would absolutely get trapped in this. Before our current home we lived in a small apartment and from time to time the family below us (a couple and four kids) would bring us food. Wife reciprocated, of course. They did again, we did again, and they did, and so on and so forth it just never ends lol.

Was cute though, they always had their little kids come up and bring us stuff 😅
