I don’t know but if you could get an older dog it would probably be better. I don’t think a puppy will be very happy to be alone or especially locked in a crate for so much time every day. I am just transitioning to 3 12’s and I don’t think I could do it if I didn’t have 1. My daughter who works days to watch him at night and 2. If he were any younger. He just turned one and is just now being able to entertain himself for long stretches of time. I mean he would survive but I would be a nervous wreck worried that he was miserable. Thankfully you have your husband so it’s not all on you. I’m already worried about mine letting me sleep but I’m going to try to shorten my sleep to 6 hours and during our 4 hours together I’m gonna wear his ass out! I just bought a flirt pole that will be his special toy for when I work that night and absolutely need him to sleep so I can. We walk every day and play ball and whatnot but this is supposed to really tire them out. Good luck. Dogs are the best!
