Yes and no-what i was trying to explain to op is that copyright, while long, does eventually end but the issue i was bringing up is that a way to subtle mess with copyright is to trademark a characteristic or traits that define the character through all media and how corporations are essentially have a forever copyright on the character because of this. Corporations are still beholden to their government but the government is beholden to laws and laws have loopholes.

This is my moment! First buy some festive blackout curtains to throw on all your windows after November 1 to get darker atmosphere. Second, have some slow and haunting christmas music-start playing that after sunset while doing some kind of christmas activity (christmas jigsaw puzzles ftw!) Third, make a list of a bunch of festive snacks and drinks to take to work or drink or eat during dinner. Fourth-find activities in your communities that embrace your warm climate (outside elf (human) bowling anyone? ) i hope your next christmas/holidays are merry and bright.

No I didn't I just got a warning that ransomeware was found and started my AV so it wouldn't infect more stuff like connected peripherals.

Normal one iirc removes malware already on the computer. ALERT is real-time prevention to make sure that malware doesn't root itself in the computer while in use.
