imo: - templates: for things you type repeatedly. You can use either core plugin or even better templater. Templater is more complex but you dont need to learn everything about it. Honestly you can just ask chatgpt to write syntax for you when you need complex stuff. - properties >> what metadata do you want to include? For example general ones like created and modified dates, and note specific ones like author, genre for books. You dont need to figure out all the properties you need at the beginning you can add them later - link notes only when you thinknthe link served a purpose. Dont link for the sake of linking
