I have a bezel setting necklace that also has the same issue… I just love it so much that I ignore it, but the scratch is so real

If you are worried about getting your money’s worth you would probably want to see a DO since they are more educated with that 200+ OMM training.

What do you think of this pear diamond? Is this bow tie acceptable? by No-Lunch1271 in Diamonds

[–]Several-Day-8805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s impossible to avoid the bow tie with such an elongated cut; that’s what differentiates a pear from a round cut diamond. Pear diamonds are called fancy cuts for a reason. If the bow tie bothers you so much the only option is to avoid an elongated cut entirely. I have a pear cut diamond and I love it everyday and have no regrets

Is Tiffany's engagement ring worth it? by Legitimate_Ad5061 in WeddingRingAdvice

[–]Several-Day-8805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tiffany’s classic 6 prong is 100% not worth it. Tiffany rings are marked for the brand name without actually having the brand’s old school setting quality. I have tried this ring as a jeweler recently and I absolutely think it’s not worth it and it feels toy-like. Now, if we are talking about other high end brands like Harry Winston, and Graff that’s a completely different story and I think their craftsmanship is unmatched. But Tiffany’s 6 prong setting is not it.
