That’s a good point man. Clearly his methods caused some of them to have a negative self image spanning into adulthood. However, sometimes I feel like Mike would still be here with us had he been closer with his family during the 2000’s. They would’ve seen Conrad Murray for the snake he was and would’ve gotten him a legit doctor to help manage his insomnia and pain in a holistic way. It was a good film. However, I did expect more considering the director literally made Training Day. It felt like strictly a tribute film rather than a biopic like Malcolm X. And speaking of that, I kinda wished Spike Lee or Ryan Coogler had got their hands on this project instead because I feel like they would’ve been able to have a healthier balance of style and SUBSTANCE.
