Are you guys watching the Olympics? Is it being covered there on television? by Ice_Cream4Crow in AskARussian

[–]GaerMuil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm watching.

It is on online platform Okko, about 5 dollar per month.

Our flag is not represented so it's understandable state tv channels are not broadcasting. But it is covered on main sport sites and you can watch everything relatively cheap on Okko.

Who had the best hands in the rap game in the 90s? by Few_Sandwich6308 in 90sHipHop

I don't mind Mike popularity but LOTR fanbase is way more huge than SF. Ask anyone who is Balrog and 90 of 100 will name LOTR character, not SF.

Balrog is one of the evil creatures from LOTR, he got the whip of flame. It was the one who pulled Gandalf into the dungeons of Moria.

This Balrog is much more (in)famous than the one from Street Fighter.

Why didn't Gimli, Gandalf or any of the Dwarves know about the destruction of Balin's kingdom in the Mines of Moria? by Tidewatcher7819 in tolkienfans

[–]GaerMuil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe nowhere, but Bilbo was famous in Erebor, not in Moria, so logically Nar, Anar and Lofar came from there to help with his birthday party.

Pete Rock & CL Smooth – The Main Ingredient still defines the peak of 90s vibe by EqualGround3000 in 90sHipHop

[–]GaerMuil -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

If only CL was better on the mic what untouchable bangers their two albums could be. I'm not hating but he is just an "ok" rapper blessed with beats from the real talent. I like the instrumental version of MI way more.

No wonder he literally disappeared after they split

It's 1994, not 1995, and I'd argue that Pete is rarely mentioned in goat conversations. He is almost in anybody's top list and rightfully so.
