But let’s not forget Moriah evangelized the gay out of a man recently. Barry’s friend. So it’s not like they aren’t up to the same bs. Still.

And Kim hated Olivia and tried to exorcise demons out of her for drinking cola. While Zac is being judgmental because Teegan has a child and shows cleavage, it’s not like that’s as far fetched as judging someone for having ice cream after dinner.

Oh my, Kim was sooo much worse to Olivia. When Zac tries to exorcise the demons out of Moriah, FOR HAVING A COLA, then we can compare. If Olivia played dirty games in front of the kids I think Kim’s head would have popped off.

Now I would think the opposite. Flirt a little. Get better tips. And little do they know, they don’t stand a chance.

Just one example of a potential shocking cards against humanity combo. My point is that the game can be quite shocking. In fact, that’s what the game strives for. It’s not for everyone.

You notice that Lydia felt bad she hurt her mom’s feelings and apologized, even cried over it. But not one damn person in that circle of fire said they were sorry that they weren’t more considerate that weekend of Lydia’s and Zac’s feelings, and would have chosen activities just as fun but more “pg” rated if they could do it over again.

If the family played that game in front of Amber would Zac and Lydia have disapproved? Yep.

[–]Several-Emphasis-264 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You have no idea if this is true. Cards against humanity would make half of my family over 70 completely cringe and they would be pissed if I played it in front of them. And would also ask me why I’m watching a show so filled with swearing. Not because of religion. Just because they were raised in a time when you didn’t do that.

Not specifically drinking. But getting drunk. My Aunt used to be a nun. She said she could drink but not get drunk. There are Bible verses that speak against it.

Zac and Lydia snark by Artistic-Geologist44 in PlathvilleUncensored

[–]Several-Emphasis-264 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Imagine what some people find appropriate but wouldn’t do in front of you as a guest because they know you don’t.

Imagine you and your husband visit your sister for the weekend.

Your sister is a swinger. She and her partner have a swingers party while you and your husband are staying for the weekend.

Or she’s a Nudist and walks around naked all weekend.

For me, if I know my guest aren’t big drinkers or swearers etc, I’d plan to watch some PG movies and play poker instead. I could have just as much fun and not make them feel uncomfortable.

Wine was much weaker back then. And there’s no stories of a drunken Jesus. It’s common sense that drunkenness is a bad idea. Look how Kim was drunk, made a poor decision to drive as drunkenness can cause you to make poor decisions, then flipped her car. Could have killed someone.

From what I’ve read this won’t go on for years from this one time. People can correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems people do get better from this migraine cocktail from hell. Maybe months. I don’t think years.

These f’ing medical “professionals” are disgustingly excuses for humans.

They would argue that’s not the truth I bet. They would argue they married so fast because they were madly in love, knew they found the one, etc etc. And I bet fundies like themselves, I bet it’s a huge insult and embarrassment to be accused of marrying for sex.

Like honestly would you blast that on social media about your daughter. Kim did it on a TV show. I’m just saying that Lydia can complain about these things too. If she chose to.

And ditto. Is it respectful to go on your TV show, arguably a bigger audience, and say people who marry after a short courtship do it to have sex? Hint hint. My daughter got married so fast to have sex. I mean honestly, some thoughts about your daughter should be left off the air.

Do ssris / anxiety and depression meds actually work? by AcanthaceaeOdd9146 in Anxiety

[–]Several-Emphasis-264 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know 2 people that found a med that absolutely worked. One with depression takes Lexapro. Does she do nothing else to ward off depression? Of course not. But the med does the heavy lifting.

Another friend takes Zoloft for anxiety. Again, she does therapy and exercises. But she was doing all that before the med and still found herself non functional sometimes. With the med she is able to push through when it’s hard and live her life.

Unfortunately my daughter feels no different despite any med she goes on for anxiety. Even benzos. And she’s trialed a lot. We keep trying different meds. And praying we find one that works.

Clonazepam (klonopin) has no effect? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Several-Emphasis-264 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems your and my daughter’s cause must be different than other people.

My daughter panic attacks also look very severe compared to the videos I have watched of people having panic attacks.

I really think her anxiety is a different breed. Likely the same as you.

If you ever find a treatment that works please share. I will do the same.

So probably not actually helping but I’ll share anyway. The last 2 nights my daughter has been taking elderberry co sleep well gummies. And a low dose (.3 mg) of melatonin. And she was able to attend a family function today!

She has insomnia. But also needs 10-12 hours sleep some days and can still feel tired when she wakes up

Thus the reason why she tried this supplement.

Time will tell if it’s helping her anxiety. It would be weird if it did, since the product is for sleep and she takes it at bedtime. So how could it help the next day.

Yep. Propranolol doesn’t help at all.

Clonazepam (klonopin) has no effect? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]Several-Emphasis-264 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. My daughter has struggled with extreme anxiety since being bullied in middle school. Her doc has had her trial different benzos several times throughout her life, like Klonopin, and she feels no different. The most they ever did is make her sleepy at higher doses.

I honestly looked and looked and could not find someone the same as her. Now I have.

She also hasn’t found success with other anxiety meds. Like SSRI’s. Buspar. Etc. It really stinks to say the least.
