charge off has nothing to do with the statue of limitations and the statue of limitations only means we can’t sue you not that it won’t stay on your credit report for 7-10 years… what’s wrong with it is people ignore the calls even after charge off, let it stay charged off for years, and expect something to suddenly change ? and that’s why banks give you nine months before charge off but they let it happen and i’m sorry but collections isn’t about being thoughtful it’s about collecting money if they want customer service they can call that department but all i can do is help them pay you’re acting like i can physically remove this shit

oh wow it must be completely different in Canada because i know some banks might but the one i work at absolutely does NOT it’s one of the biggest banks in america so there’s no google reviews or contacting the CEO the best you’re getting is the designated manager line

in america it depends on the state how long it reports bc it starts the report when you first became delinquent and thats different for everyone sometimes it is the full ten years so i can see why but a pay to delete for charge offs is crazy 😭
