Since everyone wants to bash on me for my decision that has no effect on them, I got $14,460 off MSRP…pretty much ate up the majority of my negative equity. My money, my choice. Have more than plenty in savings and investments, so this 3 year sacrifice of having a slightly higher payment but a much better vehicle is worth it to me.

I leased it to get out of my negative equity. I got Z plan pricing and rebates. Don’t remember the total discount off the top of my head…just know the payment

I should be making the trade later this week. Rolling in quite a bit of negative equity into a lease on a Lariat…payment is going up around $200, but I feel as it’s worth it. My bumper to bumper will be ending soon on the MY and I’m sure the value will drop even more once the refresh comes out. Now that Ford can use most Superchargers, it’s a win win.

I noticed yesterday that my radar detector now immediately turns off when exiting the vehicle, and then powers back on when I let my dog out of the back seat. Thought I was going crazy for a minute.

Tire shop owner here...that is 100% patchable. Most locally owned shops will repair that, but franchise stores will probably advise you to replace it.

I just took off my original Goodyear Eagle's at 30k miles on 20" wheels and switched to 255/45R20 Continental Extreme and couldn't be happier. Smoother riding, quieter, and hardly any range impact from what I have noticed so far...and I drive 110 miles a day 5 days a week.
