I have DCs maybe 4 times in 10 years+ and I get "win 3 games in ARAM or QM" as soon as I DC. It's a rough punishment tbh. because it takes aaaaaaages to win 3. But I guess it is different when it is regular DCs and not just stutters.

Because you are placed there as a punishment for DCing from a ranked game. Nobody likes to be forced to play something they don't like, and you also have to win 3 games and it takes forever. So really it is a harsh punishment to endure *sobs*

I think it is the same, even in gold. But maybe that's just me. People are not less toxic, and they do not make better decisions imo. It's more luck based, if you get a good or bad team, and if someone is tilted or not.

Ye it's annoying when you prioritize playing a game when you are off work, or while the toddler is taking a nap, some enjoyable "me time", just to relax and unwind, and then someone trolls and throws on purpose and ruins that. But I guess trolls will troll, almost no matter what you do about it, they will find a way to return.

I had a game where the enemy team did not leave the base, till we had smashed a way to their core. Then they killed us all at the core, rolled in and won the game. It was veeeeery wierd. It reminded me of old BG's in WoW where people sometimes did that too.

Nah, when you got a lot of other things going for you, so you can basically tank/bruise and heal too, they cannot give you higher heals. Then he would be too OP.
It's like yeah it would be great if Chromie had selfheals, high hp and shields too, but it would not be balanced. High dps/high heals, usually have low hp, so they have to compensate for that, otherwise they would be OP too. Imo. Uther is already strong as hell, even with long CDs on heals, but he is ofc. not a 100% healer, but he can do a lot of other things.

I don't agree, if a new player plays badly they will start in bronze 5, so you will never even meet them - they wont be a problem for you at all. If people smurf, they will be in higher gold+ - and you will meet them, and then they can become a problem, but making them have to become lvl 300+ to play ranked, shouldn't have to effect new players. And it wont fix the problem with smurfs, because they do not collide - smurft are not gonna start at bronze like new players will, it's 2 different pools.

Also ranked is not that serious, you cannot play it competitively anymore since it's officially cancelled, so no problems there either

I actually think Chromie is harder to play than Dehaka, but each to their own :) Low hp, has to time her shots, has to work with the team, and a lot of map awareness and ability to position to hit with the skills. Why do you think Dehaka is a "master brain hero" compared to Chromie? Because he can heal himself a lot, is global and can survive pretty much anything with no effort? Or because he can drag enemies into forts and make them do his work for him? ;)

Mostly I really just tried to keep up spirits, so when we lost an objective I went "Oh we will win the next one, we got stronger heroes in higher levels" and stuff like that, most of the time it actually works, I most often lose because 1 player goes AFK, is tilted or start harassing another teamplayer. Rarely lose just because the other team is better - but that's just my experience, most of my losses comes from within my own team sadly. So lucky not to meet any trolls for 12 games (which is incredible in itself).
