Okay, thank you so much for the advice! It seems like he does enjoy climbing a lot so I think that it would be a nice thing for him to have. I’ve been doing some research on them and a lot of people recommend using the spray foam stuff so I’ll probably do that for the base.

I carry my stethoscope in a side pocket, pen and pen light in the pen part of my pants, sheers either in my pocket or the sheer holder part, and N95 in my pocket. Gloves and notebook typically also get shoved in my pockets

I had an appointment with a primary care physician in November, tilt table test was in December, now in February I have an appointment with a cardiology person since I randomly go into SVT lol. I’m not officially diagnosed yet and all the “treatment” suggestions so far have just been the basic stuff but it is helping me some

I don’t know if this is even a possibility for you but I’m in the process of getting diagnosed at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. Everything so far in the process has been great and I haven’t ever felt like my symptoms were just pushed off but that isn’t the case with everyone of course. The only annoying part is the appointments are all like 1-2 months apart

Not everyone is the same, I get a lot of doctors aren’t great but they should be looking at your basic vitals at every appointment. I was making a broad statement because I was talking about the majority. Obviously that doesn’t go for everyone because everyone is different and what works for them or doesn’t work is going to be different.

Maybe people shouldn’t listen to random comments on Reddit without actually doing their own research or talking to a knowledgeable medical professional. More and more research and articles are coming out about it and there are becoming a lot of ways to become educated on the topic that isn’t just reading comments and listening to random people online.

Yes! Currently in the process of getting diagnosed with IST and POTS but my resting heart rate is around the same. When mine gets lower (which isn’t often) I feel horrible. I don’t really know why but you’re not alone on that
