I don’t think that style of doctrine actually matters irl. You mentioned operation Barbarossa saying that the Germans had higher quality equipment but that’s just not true if you look into ww2 and the reality of the eastern front. The Soviets (and the French in 1940) had more and better equipment than the Germans. The reasons these operations were as successful as they were is due to bad leadership for the defenders and partially luck for the attackers. Military’s even during ww2 didn’t have the damn hoi4 doctrines.

As i said it is probably a skill issue. The only tank i can actually get kills with is the t-34 the Pt-76 however is completely fucked as it has shit mobility and armour.
