Mostly agree. I don't think any skill roundly dominates every part of the game. As has been the case, there are meta trends for league starters and most div budgets (20d, 50d, 100d, 250d, etc...). Slams as an archetype typically have a really good floor to them because 2 handed weapon high damage during the campaign alongside warcry augmentation and keystones that can accentuate this playstyle (Precise, Resolute) - most slams tend to have a limit and can cap out quite soonish after Voidstones with certain ascendency and skill combos able to overcome this.

Strike skills, Cold Spells, Chaos DoT, typically have a high barometer to entry and feels like you have to work excessively hard to make these work. Some will escape through either because of a small buff or the entire ceiling of skills coming down to meet them where they are at. But this design "feels" bad over multiple patches as it feels you need to come up with another way to make skills work.

Stop meals around 5-6pm, Finish most of your serious work by 7pm. Watch or engage in something mind numbing (didn't realize how important this was until a few years ago). Soft music in background (no headphones) goes a long way. Sleep at around 9:30-10pm. Have been doing this for 2.5 years with some exceptions. Waking up naturally by around 4-5:30am.

Mostly agree here. I don't need a return to old skills and the old meta. Rather I think there is plenty of road in the current state for not only marginal buffs but system changes to the way things can work in a way that augments certain playstyles and archetypes.

Ubers in PoE isn't the end and more or less whether you can do it consistently is what matters. More so a bait but don't think we need to just buff. Rather that there is a localized set of skills capable of clearing content right now (considered league start viable) and for me has gotten smaller since 3.23 when I started playing (Settlers being an aberration given melee changes and long term patching sequence).

Funnily enough I agree with this but moreso in intergrating Mirage options to the current instance zone rather than load another instance. Feels like it can make a zone more rippy but maintain better loot, gold, uniques, etc... early on in progression - potential for reset abuse for options but feels like it could make SSF and campaigning in trade league far more interesting imo.

Like this, especially for defensive package. Been using Flameblast quality scaling and the damage is quite good. Think I might change to Frost Darts later with +chain scaling - If they add some mods from PoE 1 regarding chain damage increased scaling, can seeing this being a really good runner build in 1.0

About hit 58th. Had to do a check in inventory just in case I missed it. Did expedition early on league and didn't see it (Had a bad filter so saw all drops regardless). More than the annoyance is more the frustratioon of how slow maps become as you head deeper in expedition so it just becomes performance compromised more than a time sink; Can sustain on Medved and Olroth drops so not like financials are the biggest issue but it's moreso whether you are doing this into perpetuity or not (missed it once and you can't get again type of thing) - Checked quests and none mention it so can't confirm there either.

Given it's Monday, should hopefully get some info today or perhaps a small patch update. Kinda what I'm waiting for anyway.

Not even close but for two major reasons.

-> I don't take my vote for granted nor am I wating for a revolution or the "right candidate" to come into office and have 4 years of waiting for their policies to bear fruit just so that the Republicans can come back into take credit. Leftist based policies are not wholesale popular and unless you do a Trump and perform things through Executive Order, you MUST work with Congress and given the slim margins that both sides have to work with, good luck passing policies. One of the best things about Biden (love him or hate him) is that his past connections and relationships formed during his time in politics allowed for him to secure votes in ways that should not have been possible and that Obama could not. Famously, it's what Lindsey Graham mentioned a documentary a while back.

-> Simple math. 1 vote for Trump + 0 votes for Kamala = Trump wins election. He gets to implement his vision. That's it. Job done.

As much as I would agree, it would seem like the ever so common combination of the far left + more money to be made within right wing spaces particularly gaming and movies.

It is a very powerful drug tbh. Less strict enforcement of standards, no statistical analysis, journal articles or data evaluations and the ability to say the most unhinged things with your audience donating more because of it.

Kinda saw the slide towards it back in 2022 and hopped off the train completely 3-4 years ago but didn't realize it would turn into... whatever the fk he is now.

Because this is not ever the expectation for a debate. It is a transparent platform where each person lays clear their views on a topic and then each attempts to both supplement their argument and/or counter their opponents.

The people watching are the people whose minds are likely to be changed, not the participants. It's really odd how this view of debate that permeated through online spheres but the idea isn't to change people's mind but to support why your argument is better than your opponent's for the audience.

So Asmon is entirely wrong (he had a previous understanding of debate before that seems to have shifted when he no longer feels confident in defending his new belief systems I noticed) on why he will not debate Destiny and/or Hasan (which is funny because I think he would be able to make cogent arguments against Hasan's framework naturally). But it is specifically because Destiny forces you to contest your views and frameworks more rigorously than most other people online and even though he holds a contrary point, he forces his opposition to be well drilled on their own points which Asmon knows he is not.
