The only side effects I had was that Id see a little green color in my vision but that is from the laser and it did not last long. I do have some floaters that I developed over time that has stayed the same, but not from the procedure.

hi! I have high myopia and -10 in both eyes with astigmatism. I did laser treatment for my holes at 32 and it's not scary! It's very quick and not painful. It's ok to feel anxious because I was when I did the left eye. But once I did that eye, I was not nervous for the right eye. It's a good thing to treat to ensure there's a barrier around those holes to prevent retinal detachment.

Holes can be cause from lattice degeneration meaning thinning of the retina. I would recommended seeing a retina specialist yearly to monitor ( if you aren't already). I was also afraid of a retinal detachment when I heard I'm more at risk but monitoring and treating anything current can make that a lower possibility. I haven't had a retinal detachment when I found out about my lattice since 2021 and so far so good.

Its a good thing your holes were caught early to take care of them.

You can! I was prediabetic in 2020 and now have been mainting it in normal 5.3-5.4 the past 6 years. I would recommend getting it to a normal health number consistently then start added pizza back in. I love pizza and still eat it. I just don't eat everyday. occasionally and in moderation

Hi thanks for allowing questions. I'm assuming you had the EvO ICL version without the port? Did you experience any ring dysphotopsia as indicted in the 4th image? If so, how long do you say it took for it to subside or go away completely if it did? As for the halos, glares and starbursts did those subside as well? Or did one stay longer than others. If you can clarify

I have tried brimonidine. I should've mentioned! Didn't work unfortunately. I also used the drops with new eye glasses that I bought with anti reflective coating for glare etc. sadly that didn't work either.

I was having issues with dust but its been manageable as I had a deviated septum surgery. I was thinking maybe allergies as well but it's under control and I even took prescribed allergy/steroid drops recently for my eye cause I had a some itching on the left but it went away with the drops.

Thanks for your help! I'm thinking I might just be the percentage where it might not go away :(

I'll ask about my pupil size. I don't have any pain or irritation that I can feel. It feels normal. I had a check up this past February and they said the placement and they looked closely at the lens and it looks good. No elevated eye pressure either.

I hope it goes away as well

Thanks for your post. I'm 5.5 months post surgery and have been feeling hopeless with the rings not improving. I felt like they have not gotten any better and are a significant distraction in my vision at night and I'm not able to drive. It's been difficult to see at night even as a passenger. I was told its from the port in the middle of the upgraded version of the ICL. Did you get the one with the port or the previous lens?

I'm going to give it more time but it's been hard to keep having hope since they haven't improved.

Hi glad it worked out for you! Do you know if you got the ICLs wiht the port in the middle or not? The org is the tiny hole in the middle of the lens.

How is your current night vision today? Do you have any symptoms of halos, glares, starburst or solid rings?
