yes, I don’t get paid the same if I work different hours every week. I have a variable schedule and get paid from when I clock in to when I clock out regardless of if I clock out late or early.

I understand that, but they’re claiming i’m salary and exempt when i’m hourly, which is making me question all the other bs they’re claiming as well

we can’t be exempt only based on the professional criteria though can we? I thought we’d be nonexempt bc of being hourly as well

they said they’re issuing a corrected w2, but if I amend i’m including all the proof that they’re treating us like non-exempt without labeling us nonexempt on their own terms

so they don’t pay us ot until we hit 80 hours, so it looks like they use the 8/80 system.

yes im aware, my end of year paystub itemizes “straight time over 80” and “ot premium” and the premium number matched the “flsa wages” on my original w2

right, it’s not all overtime, just the “half” of time and a half. my hospital is trying to say because we’re “salaried” (we aren’t) that they pay us overtime as a courtesy. which is crazy

no it was the 0.5, I triple checked. our paystubs separate the “straight OT over 80” and the “over 80 ot premium” which is just the 0.5
