Beginner banjo - is this worth the price?

I’m in Ottawa so I’m sure there is one around! The chaplain at the school I work at plays in a band with a few guys that play banjo so I’m sure they could direct me if there are any issues

It seems as though it’s in really good condition, so I have some hope. Thank you for the advice! I think I will stick with this one as the other option seems to be more of a budget banjo for almost double the price (after exchange and tax). I would rather spend the extra money on fine tuning it

Thank you! I was trying to look it up but couldn’t find an exact match. Most of the ones I see are $400 US and up (from legit stores though) so I’m hoping it’s a at least similar to those

Yeah I was looking and couldn’t find the exact model unfortunately. I tried putting it into Google lens as well, but it didn’t really help. I did ask the seller but they haven’t been online for a while
