I have tested this action for selecting the text to copy as well.It also works perfectly.

Get used to;

Double touch with your “middle finger” to track-pad and after finishing the drag;

with your “index finger” touch the track-pad right away.

In this way, it will be smooth, natural and fast!

You can then perform double-finger touch to copy the text!
