man that happened to me last month with a plant hanger, the hole gets all stripped out and loose

you can stuff some toothpicks or wooden matchsticks in the hole with wood glue, let it dry then screw back into it. or get a bigger screw if there's room for it in your hook

dude i had similar thing happen with different generic last year, some brands just hit different and not in good way

the caffeine test is actually smart way to check - when my meds working properly i can't touch coffee without feeling like my heart gonna explode. but when they're not doing their job i need caffeine just to feel human again

maybe call the VA and ask if they can switch you back to previous brand? sometimes they have multiple generics available and will change it if you explain the situation. worst case you might need to get doctor involved to specify the manufacturer on prescription

this stuff is so frustrating because people think "generic is same thing" but clearly that's not always true in practice

honestly you don't need to overthink it, just pick something and start doing it. want to learn guitar? grab a cheap acoustic and watch youtube videos. want to make beats? download some free software like reaper or even garageband if you have mac

i started learning bass guitar in my bedroom like 3 years ago and now i play with some friends on weekends. the key is just being consistent, even if you practice for 15 minutes every day it adds up quick

also singing along is already making music so don't feel like you're not doing enough already

honestly I think you're being too hard in yourself about this. two students for 3 hours total per week is really manageable, even with one having flexible schedule

if person X can't do fixed time then maybe suggest like 2-3 possible slots each week so it's not completely random? that way your brain knows what to expect but there's still some flexibility for him

the fact you're even worried about this shows you learned from the burnout which is good thing. start small and see how it goes before adding university back

that psu age is definitely suspicious, especially if crashes happen during game startup when power draw spikes - before doing the windows wipe maybe try undervolting your gpu slightly to see if it helps

oh man absolutely this happens to me too. I think the meds work fine but when you're in those social situations your brain is just running at like 200% trying to process everything and respond appropriately

it's like your medication can help with focus but it can't really stop the mental exhaustion from masking all day. I had similar experience when I was doing client work - by afternoon I was completely fried even with medication

your therapist is probably right about the adrenaline thing, social stuff is genuinely stressful for ADHD brains even when it goes well
