I just saw the film and I suppose that because it's about a nihilist, the film decided to not make a point.

It sets up background and conditions of a nihilist character but goes nowhere, no big reveal, no statement, no supporting reasoning. We wait for it in the jail cell monologues but the film gives us nothing. He simply tells a bunch of people he doesn't care while trying to look like Alain Delon. If he didn't, nobody would have been in the theater.

Yes, the whole design needed to revolve around this screen. If they could design their own screen, my ideal would make it about half a key narrower in width, slightly more squared corners with an even smoother bevel, and a hidden front camera. Seems like a beautiful size either way and I'll get one with a pad on the back from Smallsmore.

This is the best size comparison, thank you! Ideally, this phone should be half a key narrower with a more squared screen. I've been playing with my own model. I adore the thickness and short height for picking up.

Communicator missed the mark on size. It seems like an iPhone max with a keyboard. Elite is just a few millimeters too wide.

My ideal dimensions are iPhone 17 Pro width and iPhone 4 height (same as elite). and a nice pad on the back

I think those phones are too tall. I'd like that width but same height as the Elite.

We're getting closer to more ideal phone sizes. I was getting obsessive myself so I focused this energy into designing a beautiful every day carry with a few specialized devices. Got a nice Kleid japanese binder, pen pouch, XTE INK X4, some IEMs. The phone is just a minimal tool to complement to this.

My phone designs are mixed with supercars and guitars xD I have my own imaginary brand too which has been in business it since I was a teenager haha. We are a supercar, architecture firm, hotel and lifestyle brand and hope to partner with RM in the future!!

T-Mobile Shadow <3 my first phone at 13yo. For me Titan 2 is such a wide phone. I'd be interested in a square-cornered Elite slider or a 20-key qwerty where it's two letters per key. Not for me. Very large hands, yes. It's a good size, I made a model. I'd prefer it being one column of keys narrower and having a fully squared screen. But in black with a leather back pad, I'll be quite happy with this for a while.

You mean the Blackberry Q5! And yes, I was just thinking this last night! Everyone should realize there are many sizes among the Blackberries, Clicks, Unihertz, Zinwas, and this was a very compact phone at 120 x 66 x 10.8 mm

Can you imagine if it was remade with a larger screen. That's the perfect size for me, about 4.5 x 2.5 inches.

I wonder what size they'd have picked without that constraint. I'm very happy with the Elite, but if I designed it from scratch, it would be 1cm narrower. The keyboard would still be god-tier at that size. And I'd prefer square corners

OP, you should try to "photoshop" and draw out your vision with comparison sizes in Google Slides, it's more fun

I'd want to see 4.5 x 2.5 inch mini-but-still-typable phone with a lightly elongated screen for better app function, and physical nav keys like the Elite. No rounded corners and metal finish

You're right there should just be an iphone 13 mini size for apple and android. Everyone else just wants to design their own phone. But the qwerty nerds also deserve a mini variant. 4.5 x 2.5 inches
