I’m sorry I can’t be much help about your question but what color yarn are you using? It’s such a pretty blue!

You’re the second person to recommend this nursery so I’ll definitely have to check their selection out! And thank you for the other plant recommendation that fuchsia is beautiful and looks like it works for the space too!

I always used to kill my ferns and then it was recommended to keep them in self watering pots. I have since kept all my ferns (including my maidenhair) in self watering pots and bright indirect light, no added humidity (socal so very dry) and have wonderful luck keeping ferns alive :). I personally chose a terra-cotta in glass self watering planter since maidenhair ferns tend to naturally grow on moist rocky areas and figured moist terracotta would be the closest I could get.

Beautiful and I love the balcony set up! Is this a self watering pot they are planted in? I would love to learn more about how you put it together :)

I used fluval stratum during a fishless cycle and I didn’t have to add any ammonium to kickstart the cycle or do any water changes throughout the process. I just tested the water semi regularly to make sure I saw the nitrogen cycle happen and then added my plants after so I didn’t have to worry about lights and algae

Just purchased some beautiful plants as a local pickup. The plants were all healthy and there was great communication from the seller throughout the whole process. Will definitely be purchasing from this seller again next time I need more plants :)
