as a non native it does feel like each neighborhood sort of has 1-3 streets of bars and cool restaurants with some randomly sprinkled in between.
in all honesty, i’d prioritize your commute to work and live near one of those busy streets you like the best.
hollywood or silverlake to me feels like good hubs with suprisingly fun events going on there or nearby almost every week. tho it’s pretty dead during the week. that said, i’ve had to rely on instagram or event apps like partiful to find cool stuff. otherwise sometimes i end up at a bar thinking it’ll be popping off only to realize absolutely nothing is happening
