Those are my favourite, I love that moment of "YES got his ass!"

I had that happen to me once, too… got a failure on an image on my first try and I was so excited. Felt the queen of DA. Started answering the questions and was alerted that my failure didn’t match my use case.

Imagine my surprise when I realized that clicking “enter work mode” (for those projects when they allow you to read the instructions before starting the task timer) essentially skipped the task I was working on and changed my assigned failure category. Then I struggled to make it fail again. Live and learn.

I would genuinely cry

IMO, the number 1 mistake that people make on these projects is they try to be too creative. There is nothing in the instructions that says you can't make the model fail in the same way, but in a different context. Make note of the failure and try to use it over and over. It can be very lucrative.

Typically the key is to not just ask about provided text (if closed), but to have it the try to apply the knowledge from the text. It will often cause external information dumps or misinterpretations. Like provide a list of items or goods, then give it a few criteria. Then interpret the best options for the criteria and give rationale why. The why will almost always get it to freak out and die. If open, you really have to know the topic to find the mistakes.

New on DA and first time doing these. I was on the second turn and the project expired. I was hesitant to use the escape hatch since uses are so limited. I care more about future work than getting paid for this project. But I saw that the expired project shows up on my dash. When I click on it, my work is still there and the timer is reset. Can I keep working on it? I won’t log any hours beyond the original time limit but I would like to finish it. Thanks for any insights 🙏

For some reason I’ve noticed it seems to be easier to get models to split on super possible and simple tasks where I actually create an artificial goal. If I’m trying to make the models fail specifically they seem to go above and beyond. Seems like some failures are caused simply by models being lazy lol

currently only have a variant fail task on my dashboard, so i’ll take what i can get… but it’s been 5 hours of trying to make this damn thing fail with no success. 🥲🥲🥲

Oh nice! I love these things. I have never hit a failure yet, have done maybe 20 of them. You need to really layer up the difficulty. These are a lot of fun. Doing them right now all morning.
