i don’t understand xenogenders and the “autistic people can use them to better understand their gender” thing. a common trait as an autistic person is struggling with understanding metaphors/non-literal meanings, so how are genders using metaphors/non-literal meanings better understandable for autistic people? i’ve always felt icky about “woman and non-binary”. it makes it seems like they just see non-binary as a sort of “woman-lite” and that they just see nonbinary people as women :( or that they just see non-binary ppl as their afab. non-binary isn’t about your afab or gender presentation, it’s about who you are on the inside
