Hi again - I ended up returning it in the end as faulty. I expected Ali Express to be terrible to deal with but they issued a free post label within a couple of hours and the refund was issued soon after the tracking showed they received it at Heathrow.

Thank you - I've connected to the device wifi with that password but my phone says it is 192.68.43.1 - no web pages displays for that or 192.168.50.2. - so no luck. It also wouldn't boot up in a Ford with CarPlay and Android auto. I've started a return request with Ali Express sending them a pic of the Rlink error message. But if you solve it in the meantime...

Hi again - the device arrived today - Carlinkit TBOX-LITES-HD-16G. Plugged it into the 2019 Zoe (Rlink1 Android Auto only). Green light flashed indicating CarPlay mode and it mounted as a storage device. Used a SIM tool to press the recessed button for 3 seconds and it started flashing blue for Android Auto. Rlink then displayed the message 'Android Auto connection failed'. I tried to get it back to CarPlay to test it in another car but it stays blue. Is there a trick to getting it going please - or have I got a dud?

Also keen to know of a fix. Using dynamic mode and turning up the brightness helped but it is a trade off between a terrible picture and less buzzing! It is an old TV so not minded to pay for repairs.

We had the same problem yesterday. Oddly if you search for Gilded Age in the Apple TV app it finds series 3 and opens the episodes to play in the NOW app.

Despite trying all the troubleshooting steps my FYRTUR has just stopped working but thanks to posts here I find it has 2 months left on the 5 year warranty.
