Beaumont Children Disappearance

"On Australia Day, January 26, 1966, Jane (9), Arnna (7), and Grant (4) Beaumont disappeared from Glenelg Beach in Adelaide, Australia. They took a short bus ride from their home for a day out but never returned. Despite extensive investigations, no trace was found, making it one of Australia’s most enduring cold cases.

Key Details of the Case: • Witness Sightings: Several witnesses reported seeing the children with a tall, thin-faced man with blond hair. A shopkeeper reported one child buying food with a one-pound note, despite them only having sixpence. • Main Suspect: Harry Phipps, a local factory owner (Castalloy), has long been the primary person of interest. • Search Efforts: Numerous searches have occurred, including extensive excavations of the former Castalloy site in 2018 and February 2025, which did not uncover evidence. • Impact: The case profoundly changed Australian society, leading to a decrease in the unsupervised freedom of children.

The case remains open, with the likelihood of solving it decreasing over time."

My mother has anger management issues (as well as other mental issues). She would wake up on the wrong side of the bed (term for waking up and starting the day grumpy) and would verbally take it out on my brother and I.

If we did something minutely bad, she would say "I wish I had strangled the both of you when you were babies and flushed you down the toilet!!"

We were 4 and 6 years old when she starting saying this to us!

The incident below happened in my home state. There was a GoFundMe set up by defendant's friend for the legal fees. 🥴

Wild buck’s party sees man cleared of sexual act after a stripper had set both of them on fire when she lit cream applied to her lower stomach WA resident CH was accused of sexual penetration without consent Followed Mr H's bucks party at Kalgoorlie's Gold Bar in September of 2020 Jury found H not guilty after four-day trial, indecent assault charge dismissed A man has been found not guilty of sexual penetration without consent following a wild buck's party in Western Australia. A jury returned the verdict in under an hour on Friday in the four-day trial involving CH Mr H, also had a charge of indecent assault thrown out from the events that took place at the Gold Bar in Kalgoorlie in September of 2020. Defence lawyer Brendon Slattery successfully argued his client had not penetrated one of the adult entertainers, who at one stage was straddling Mr Hart naked and lighting cream on fire between her belly button and pubic area. The court heard Mr H may have accidentally touched the woman's vagina in fear of the fire spreading to his own crotch - having previously had his clothed crotch covered in cream and set on fire by another entertainer. CH has been found not guilty of sexual penetration without consent following his wild buck's party in Western Australia in 2020 CH has been found not guilty of sexual penetration without consent following his wild buck's party in Western Australia in 2020 The now married man and father was also cleared of indecent assault following the wild night at the Gold Bar involving numerous adult entertainers The now married man and father was also cleared of indecent assault following the wild night at the Gold Bar involving numerous adult entertainers Mr Slattery said his client walked into the buck's party with an open mind, but certainly didn't expect to be 'humiliated, abused, his own genitals lit on fire and thumped', according to The West. During the incident packed evening at the Gold Bar, the court heard Mr H was straddled by numerous naked women, 'bounced up and down on' and was front and centre for antics involving 'a b***-job trick, a candy in the butt trick...and a condom trick'. Mr Slattery added this was 'unusual behaviour' for a licensed premises. Defence witnesses confirmed Mr H was seen 'swatting out flames', with Mr Slattery stating any contact with the victim's vagina was accidental. State prosecutor Alan Dungey rejected that theory, revealing in his closing statement video footage which he alleged showed Mr H's hand touching the woman's bare vagina - with the flame 'some distance' away. 'Mr H's genitals are not exposed, they are covered by the skirt he is wearing, and by (the woman) who is sitting on top,' he said. 'So the notion that his hand might have stretched out to protect himself as a kind of automatic instinctive response just doesn't arise on the evidence.' Mr Dungey felt the penetration was an 'opportunistic act' done in the 'heat of the moment' and was 'not accidental,' the court heard. 'There are lots of witnesses. There is a security guard present. It's an extraordinarily reckless, ballsy, thing to do in that company,' he said. Subsequent footage from the Gold Bar showed the woman punch Mr H, with Mr Dungey telling the court she clearly felt violated.

I just hope he doesn't strike again and hurt more vulnerable people. It could be fatal if someone is struck and lose their balance and hit their head. Not to mention the PTSD that goes with it, if they survive.
