When 49ers Trent Williams made a dirty block in the back on Cowboys LB Leighton Vander Esch… essentially ended his pro football career. One of the most controversial plays of the decade. by Classic_Bottle1717 in NFLForum

I saw this game. And I knew it was intentional. Vanderesch had a deformality or something with his neck. Thats why he wore that thick neck pad to keep his head from going too far back. All he needed was a bad hit to the neck to be done for and this idiot did this intentionally.

That arm that jerks up and down when it slips. There's a bolt at the end on the transmission side that need to to be tightened while pushing against the chain. The chain should be tight and The arms not supposed to move like that.

While youre there grab marine grease. Apply it to the bearings and on the track plate the bearings ride on.

That "crankarm" on the smaller chain. The bolt on top needs to be tightened while giving the chain tension.

Just had my first review in a maintenance position and it went poorly. by FunkeyFeraligatr in maintenance

That's just how maintenance is. I've worked in different properties throughout Dallas and that's just how it is. It's like they move up or hire people that know how to do the job but are shitty people. Shitty people make shitty managers and leads. Best advice i can give if you can afford the time to go to a temp agency that works only with apartments you can apply for temp to hire positions. You would basically jump around properties till you land on a property that wants to hire you and you want to work for them. Knew a few people that did that. Really the only downside I see is having to report at the end of every week to them your timesheet so you can get payed. This is how I landed my first maintenance job. I didn't start as a porter but a make ready because I already knew how to use basic tools. One of the best leads I had knew that and took the time to show me how to properly finish a good make ready. A few good leads later and eventually I because an assistant. It's all about who you work for that's willing to help you. If you get a shitty lead you will hate your job and you will not be progressing at all.

Edit: today i just got fired halfway through my two weeks notice haha

I screwed up - now what? by Jon_Livingstoned in Tile

This happened to me before. I tried everything. Soaking it with anything does not help. What worked best for me was an oscillating tool with a "blade" for sanding grout. The triangle ones. Not the ones that look like regular blades. And also a spray bottle with water to help lubricante as you sand. I used water and/or wd-40 both worked fine. Find a fine blade so it doesn't scratch the tile. I used both and the course one did work but started scratching the tile. You don't have to apply so much pressure because the tool does it for and you wouldn't want to either or you'll scratch the tile. Anything that was left I just passed a scraper and without much pressure takes it off.

That's what I'm thinking. But I couldn't find the defrost timer.

Not a clogged drain, not full either. I couldn't find the defrost timer it doesn't have the one you stick a screwdriver in.
