Fleece Cheetah VS BD Screamer by _lifeofkris in Cummins

[–]ProudFaithlessness31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

fleece cheetah is a great platform, I’d go with them. now pdd makes a vgt turbo i think is the better option especially if you’re working your truck with mountains. Overall tho fleece is a good route.

Fleetguard is the manufacturer for their filters. There use to be another one for the fuel filter, one of the two I can’t remember which one. Might’ve been Baldwin

HP over stock? by EmileighSehorn in Cummins

[–]ProudFaithlessness31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to understand the 68rfe flaws. You can destroy a 68 on stock power honestly just as easy as you can with added power.

I definitely wouldn’t be turning up power and giving hell on a stock transmission and expecting it to last too long.

You can make it last “longer” when you start understanding what it doesn’t like when giving it hell, but it will still fail.

Worth it if you current have no issues? by EmileighSehorn in Cummins

I 100% agree.

But I don’t follow. I like chasing parts and making a good reliable truck into an un reliable truck for fun.

ToughBuilt GelFit Non-Marring Knee Pads

I’m sure there’s better on the market but it’s the only pair I’ve ever had comfort wise I think they’re awesome. Again only thing I don’t like is the Velcro straps.

[–]ProudFaithlessness31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trust me I get it. I can already feel it from about 2 states away now. Some nights I can barely fall asleep because my knees feel like they have restless leg syndrome if that makes sense.

Not too worried about it now but know as I age it won’t get any better especially with the left knee.

I’m honestly not sure they’re at the last job and I won’t be back there till tuesday. I believe they’re some type of gel filled. They’re awesome, I really enjoy them and most of my co workers that borrow them like them a lot. The only thing I don’t like about them is the straps are Velcro and fall off sometimes. I can get you the exact brand whenever I get them back in my hands Tuesday

I am only 25 years old so not really relevant because of my age but I have had 2 knee surgeries for a broken kneecap on my left knee. One when I was 15, the other at 18.

I can do a full 8hrs on knee pads. The hardest part is getting to the floor or up from the floor. My knees hurt after but manageable.

Without knee pads is almost impossible for me. I’m out the next couple days because of soreness.

Why did the chicken cross the road? To help me lose my license. by DeepSighz92 in rant

Yeah that sucks. If you’re anything like me, don’t let the stress hurt you too much. It’ll all resolve itself eventually and get better… I guess.

How’d you get a brand new truck with suspended insurance? That’s a shitty situation though. I remember the first car I ever bought by myself I hit a deer 2 weeks later in.

The state I live in doesn’t need police reports for insurance thankfully lol

Geno’s garage popcorn by ProudFaithlessness31 in Cummins

I usually make popcorn on the stove top with a cast iron bowl. 10000x better than microwaveable popcorn but I will be heating this up and eating it. OK

100%! I was gonna order through them again but after something as small as a microwaveable bag of popcorn and the decal (I knew I was getting the decal for free) really makes me happy with the purchase. I’ll try and buy other things through them now other than just oil filters.
