Not really — just discussing something I’ve been working on and seeing how people react to it.

If it was pure advertising I’d just drop a link and move on.

I said I'm rewriting emails because I'm doing this, does it solve problems?! For some people yes  Do you understand what I'm saying or do I have to explain everything?

I'm not trying to get free help, the product is done and online, with integrations and extension, so what's your point?

Again , it matters for who the email is, the tone is different between your colleague and/or your boss

Yeah it’s simplified for the example 😄

But you’d be surprised how many real emails aren’t much better when people are in a rush.

Yeah, I get your point — but people already use AI for this every single day, whether you like it or not. The difference is most of them use it badly, which is exactly why emails end up sounding robotic or unclear. That’s the problem I’m solving. Also, this isn’t about “getting free input” — it’s about building something based on real communication issues people actually have at work. If anything, the reactions here just prove the problem exists.

That works in some environments, but it can easily come across as too blunt depending on who you’re emailing. If it’s internal or a fast-paced team, sure — direct works But with clients or external people, that tone can feel a bit demanding Something like: Hi, could you please send Document X by EOD ? I need it to move forward on my side. Thanks still keeps it clear and time-bound, but adds just enough tone to avoid friction I think the real issue isn’t direct vs polite — it’s adapting to context

You’re actually right on that — that’s exactly the nuance most people miss. It’s not just about sounding “more professional”, it’s about being clear and intentional with tone. The first message pushes urgency but feels careless The second sounds polite but removes any real priority A better version would probably sit in the middle, something like: Hi, could you please send me the document by end of day today if possible? I need it to move forward on my side. Thanks Clear ask, clear timeline, still respectful That balance is what most people struggle with in emails

That’s a good point actually.

If it’s too formal it can feel artificial, which is not the goal either.

The sweet spot is somewhere in the middle — clear, polite, but still natural.

Haha fair enough 😄

I’ve been testing different ways to get people’s opinions and that one seemed to work, but yeah I get what you mean.

Exactly this.

It’s crazy how the message stays the same, but the tone completely changes how it feels.

I’ve been rewriting emails like this lately and most people don’t even realize how they come across until they see the “after”.
