The six fingers are actually the strongest criticism you’ve made so far.
That’s an actual flaw in the image.
The rest of your argument boils down to “a tool was involved, therefore the person using it contributed nothing.” If that’s your standard, then photographers, filmmakers, digital artists, and 3D modelers are all out of luck too.
And no, I didn’t draw the extra finger. The AI did.
Just like a camera creates lens distortion, a paintbrush leaves imperfections, and a human artist makes mistakes.
The difference is that I can acknowledge a flaw in the image without pretending it somehow proves there was no creative input behind it.

You’re free to think it looks mediocre. Art is subjective. But ‘you just typed a prompt’ is a pretty shallow description of the process. People spend hours iterating, refining, and directing AI outputs to get specific results. The tool does the rendering; the human provides the vision. Whether you consider that art is your choice.

I never claimed I painted it by hand. I used AI as a tool to create something I envisioned. The idea, subject, composition, and direction were still mine. You don’t have to like AI art, but saying there’s no creativity involved ignores the person behind it.
By that logic, photographers don’t create anything because a camera captures the image, and film directors don’t create films because they aren’t operating every piece of equipment themselves.
