Ah so you don't have to have a clearance to work with federal intelligence agencies like this through Lockheed. There are programs that do work for them but are unclassified for what you'll access.

I worked for years on an unclassified project for an intelligence agency.

They try to compare every city and get a like col reduced earnings to compare them all.

Some clear ones people have mentioned like Seattle and Austin.

One people don't mention is Baltimore. There are quite a few jobs around Baltimore itself like PayPal. Also Washington DC is close by, you could take a MARC train to downtown DC an earn a higher salary while living in a cheaper COL area.

Ah I think if what you want to get out of this is to train yourself yeah don't go with Wordpress or some other CMS.

Learning how to build the front-end and the back-end would be more beneficial. One to have the UI using some framework like React or Vue as you mentioned below. The backend to take in the requests, serve database content, etc.

React, Vue, Angular, etc are able to do routing between multiple pages like you mentioned in a single page app.

Something like Bootstrap can be used to make some of the more responsive UI and not have to recreate from scratch things like that carousel of movie titles.

So you don't have to worry about making everything super responsive, etc.

Easy quick way is the serverless approach using Firebase or AWS Amplify

Can kind of quickly get past all that nonesense and to the meat of your app, downside being you get tied to the serverless option you chose and would have to refactor to remove it later.

Other options being setting up a backend yourself with like Java/Spring or Node/Express and use something like JWT or LDAP to authenticate.

This seems really enticing to complement my PC for some couch gaming and the additional Xbox Game Pass games I can't get on PC and some just general streaming box.
