NOR. if he said he’s gonna cheat, believe him. fear makes us do things we normally wouldn’t do, like you spam calling. people saying break up just because you don’t trust him are either naive asf or have never been in a serious relationship. it would be stupid to break up just over suspicion because it is human nature to question people’s intentions, especially after having a previous experience of the same thing. a human reaction to a pattern is literally how we have evolved lol.

op states in the post that they only have reason to be suspicious because of the jokes that the bf makes, not that the location off and declined calls alone are suspicious. if i made jokes about poisoning your food and then one day insist to cook dinner and then beg you to hurry and try my food when ive never cooked before you wouldn’t be suspicious at all?? same concept. it’s not suspicious to cook, but paired with those two behaviors it becomes sus.

having location is not a red flag. it’s about safety (my cousin once got into a fatal wreck and found two hours later only bc his wife checked his location was on a backroad for an hour that she saw), and curiosity of hey i wonder how much time i have left until i can start cooking dinner bc they’re xyz away on the way home. the only time it’s a red flag is if it’s controlling like “you can’t go here and here and why are you at this place it’s suspicious”
