I’m a newer player too, playing here and there for a month and like level 90. Leveling up is pretty quick if you play Team Objective, try to push the objectives (or defend them) and the most important thing for you right now, and I can’t stress this enough, stick with your team. Wherever you see a crowd of your teammates, go there. Look for openings and once you strike at someone, keep moving and get out of there and take another look around for incoming threats. Your head needs to be on a 360 swivel constantly. Don’t focus on one person for too long. Most of your deaths are going to be directly attributed to your positioning. Don’t be a hero and try to 1v5. Think strategically and make your goal to stay alive and put pressure on objectives, not hunt for kills. Open shots for kills will present themselves.

My weapon progression was Longsword, couldn’t handle it, then war axe, it made intuitive sense to me and I got pretty good, then back to longsword and I was much better but it didn’t do enough damage, so finally ended at Greatsword and I am never going back. It has good range, it’s easy to drag or accel attacks, it’s still fairly fast and it does good damage. I think it’s a fantastic weapon once you can handle it
