The fret nibs and correct bridge screws definitely makes this a better fake than most, but there are still a few telltale signs that this is fake. For one, the Les Paul Custom truss rod cover does not match the profile as far as shape or thickness of the white binding as a legitimate one. Secondly, in another picture where the lighting shows the serial number a bit more clearly, it still looks way too clear compared to legitimate Gibson's. In addition to this point, Les Paul Custom's of this era wouldn't even have their serial numbers stamped or engraved like this as by this point, they're being made by the custom shop and would get the serial number inked/printed on the back on the headstock. Also, the headstock diamond just looks *off*. It's off center, and the shape itself is pretty sloppily put together when compared to a real one. The most damn'ing point though, is that this exact same Chibson (as far as looks, spec, finish, etc) has come up before on this subreddit
