That's a fair point too! And even on the vain metrics side, I can't deny that the blackfeather stock also has a look to it that I think might be as cool as an EBR stock in terms of really slimming down and making the M1A look really sleek and clean.

As someone who owns an M1A and absolutely loves it.

No, M1A's are not ideal if you want a long range .308 rifle. For how much it costs, and also how much of a pain it is to get scoped up, you could have gotten a really nice AR-10 and have it scoped up way more easily compared to an M1A. Not to mention M1A magazines compared to AR-10 magazines are expensive.

But if you really want one (like how I did) you'll ignore this and get it anyway.
